Load Banks

Load Banks are designed to provide electrical loads for testing power sources such as generators. They are also used to reduce ‘wet stacking’ problems in diesel engines of backup generating systems.

Load Banks can be used for a wide variety of applications, such as:

  • Generating servicing
  • Generating Set exercising and/or testing
  • Keeping Generating Set above minimum loading (load shedding)
  • Battery discharge and UPS Systems exercising and/or testing
  • To reduce ‘Wet Stacking’ problems
  • Ground power testing.
